KUALA LUMPUR, El Sky News — Rumors of a breakup between Malaysian influencer Ameera Khan and Indonesian actor Jefri Nichol have gone viral after fans noticed that the couple had unfollowed each other on Instagram.
The move quickly fueled speculation that their cross-border romance has come to an end. Fans who have been following their relationship since early this year were quick to point out that Ameera had also deleted several photos and videos featuring Jefri from her social media feed including moments from their Bali vacation last August.

Neither Ameera nor Jefri has issued any official statement regarding the situation.
Their relationship first caught public attention after they appeared together at a fashion event in Jakarta earlier this year. Since then, they’ve often been seen attending events and sharing affectionate moments online becoming one of the most talked-about cross-border celebrity couples between Malaysia and Indonesia.
Now, the “unfollow” move seems to have confirmed what fans had feared that the couple’s relationship may have quietly ended. Still, many supporters are wishing both stars well, encouraging them to focus on their growing careers in the entertainment industry.
