Bloody Tragedy in Klang: Man Shot Dead While Refueling, Motive Still Unknown

KLANG, El Sky News – A quiet night at a Petronas petrol station in South Klang turned into chaos after a 34-year-old local man was found dead with gunshot wounds late last night. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ambushed Inside His Car

According to a police statement, the unemployed victim was ambushed while sitting inside his car at the petrol station.

“The suspect is believed to have fired several shots toward the front section of the victim’s vehicle. Investigations revealed that the bullets penetrated the windshield and struck the victim’s body,” said [Selangor Police Chief] during a press briefing today.

Forensic and Criminal Investigation Department (CID) officers were immediately deployed to the scene to collect evidence. The victim’s body has been sent to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (HTAR), Klang, for a post-mortem examination.

Investigation Under Section 302

The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder, which carries the death penalty upon conviction.

When asked about the possible motive, police said the matter is still under thorough investigation.

“We are examining all possible angles, including the victim’s background, to determine the real motive and identify those responsible for this brutal act,” the police chief added.

Authorities have urged anyone with relevant information to come forward and assist in the investigation by contacting the nearest police station or the police hotline.

Police assured the public that security in the area remains under control, and firm action will be taken against anyone attempting to disrupt public order.
